November 2025:  Comfort is a 38-year-old widow and mother of three, who is also caring for her three stepchildren. She and her husband had been farmers together, working side by side to provide for their family. Tragically, a few years ago, her husband lost his life in a farming accident while they were on the farm. From that moment on, life became extremely difficult for Comfort, and she struggled to find her footing again. Through Girl Power Africa, Comfort was empowered with farming tools and materials and placed in a supportive team of women. Together, they are now farming, sharing the labor, selling their produce collectively, and dividing the proceeds to support their families and send their children to school. Comfort shared that she never had the opportunity to attend school herself, but she is determined that her children will have a different future. Her greatest motivation is ensuring that her children receive an education and do not face the same hardships she endured.
