JUNE 2022: 55-year-old Cecelia resides in Gbapa, Nimba County.  Cecelia is a
single mother of five children and provides for her family as a subsistence farmer. 
Subsistence farming provides just enough for a family to “subsist.”  Getting
beyond subsistence to profit making is the challenge of our farmers and one can
imagine that any little bit helps. Girl Power is honored to stand alongside these
incredibly resourceful women to help strengthen their earning capacity.  The gift of
a farming supplies Empowerment Package is both helpful and hopeful.  Thanks to
the generous donation from  the Girl Power Africa General Funds, the resources
needed for Cecelia’s farming activities have been improved.
