November 2025:  Beatrice is a 60-year-old widow, mother, and grandmother who has devoted her life to caring for her family. She has full-time responsibility for three grandchildren who live with her, and she is determined to provide for them despite the challenges she faces. Farming has been Beatrice’s lifelong skill—the work she and her late husband did together for many years. After his passing, the physical demands of farming alone became too much. Still, she had hope that with support, she could return to the land. Through Grow Power Africa, Beatrice received the farming materials she needed and was placed in a team of women. Together, they share the labor, work collectively, and sell their produce. Beatrice is extremely grateful for this opportunity and for the chance to rebuild her livelihood with the support of a team. Beatrice has never been to school herself, but she dreams of educating her grandchildren. She hopes that by giving them this opportunity, they will not only build bright futures for themselves but also be able to care for her in her old age.
