PATRICIA: S193-GEH

September 2020:  Thanks to the generous donation from Phil Vasby, Patricia has been re-enrolled into school for the 2020/2021 school year. She received a double promotiion and is in the 4th grade this year and still wants to be a taxi driver when she grows up. She continues to live with her mother.

June 2019: We are pleased to announce that Patricia was promoted to the 2nd grade for the 2018-2019 school year. Colleen, thank you for your sponsorship and giving your student a gift of education through Girl Power Africa.

2018: Meet Patricia, who has been generously sponsored by Colleen McNicoll.  She is 14 years old and in the 1st grade this year. Patricia lives in Gehwee, Liberia with her mother. Since the death of Patricia’s father a few years ago, her mom, who is a palm wine seller, is having a difficult time supporting her and her 8 children. Patricia hopes to be a taxi driver when she grows up.
