October 2019: Thanks to the generous donation from Pam Albi, Janjay has been re-enrolled into school for the 2019-2020 school year.

2018:  Meet Janjay, who has been generously sponsored by an Anonymous donor (CW). She is 17 years old and in the 5th grade this year. She lives in Duazon, Liberia with her mother and father. Janjay’s father is unemployed and her mother is a recipient of Girl Power Africa who sells petty business. Her mother’s income is not enough to support a family of 11. The family has been unable to afford to send their children to school on a regular basis. She hopes to be a gospel musician when she grows up.
