June 2019: We are pleased to announce that Felecia was promoted to the 4th grade for the 2018-2019 school year. Jen, thank you for your sponsorship and giving your student a gift of education through Girl Power Africa.

2018:  Felicia Johnson, who has been generously sponsored by Jen Boyer. She is 16 years old and was promoted to the 3rd grade this year. She lives in Duazon, Liberia with her aunt. Felicia was send to live with her aunt because her mother could not afford to send her to school. Felicia’s aunt is a recipient recipient of Girl Power Africa. She has changed her mind, she now hopes to be a teacher when she grows up.  

2017:  Another SUCCESS story!  It’s never too late to Dream Big!  This 15 year old girl, Felicia Johnson, has never been to school, but she dreams of becoming a doctor! Thanks to Bonnie Helbach for giving Felicia the Gift of Education. She got DOUBLE promotion from kindergarten to SECOND GRADE!  This girl’s not wasting anytime!
