June 2019: We are pleased to announce that Ernest was promoted to K2 for the 2018-2019 school year. Norkeh family, thank you for your sponsorship and giving your student a gift of education.

2018:  Ernest Vulu has been generously sponsored by the Norkeh Family.  He is 13 years old and was promoted to the kindergarten1 this year. He lives in Gbapa, Liberia with his father. 

2017:  Meet Ernest Vulu, who has been generously sponsored by Lori Fischer Hall and family.  He is 12 years old and is going to school for the first time this year.   He lives in Gbapa, Liberia with his father.  Since the death of Ernest’s mother, his father has been unable to send Ernest and his siblings to school.  Ernest, a child with disabilities told Girl Power:  “I want you to help me go to school so I can be a human being tomorrow “.  His interests are learning and he hopes to be a doctor when he grows up.
