2018:  Meet Elizabeth Vakum, who has been generously sponsored by Barbara Ulichny. She is 13 years old and in the 3rd grade this year. Elizabeth lives in Sanniquellie, Liberia with her uncle. Her mother is unemployed with 4 children who she can not afford to support. Elizabeth was given to her uncle to live. Unfortunately, the uncle too has many children of his own and could not afford to send her to school on a regular basis. She hopes to be a nurse when she grows up.
