Thanks to the generous donation from Monica Engel and Tori Swenson, Angel has been re-enrolled into school for the 2019-2020 school year.

We are pleased to announce that Angel was promoted to the K-2 for the 2018-2019 school year. Monica Engel and Tori Swenson, thank you for your sponsorship and giving your student a gift of hope and education through Girl Power Africa.

Meet Angel, who has been generously sponsored by Monica Engel and Tori Swenson.  She is 10 years old and was promoted to the kindergarten-1 this year. Angel and family is still struggling. Unfortunately, many nights the children go to bed hungry because their mother prioritizes alcoholic beverages. She is so grateful for school and having an outlet. Her interests are helping her mom and siblings.

Meet Angel, who has been generously sponsored by Tori Swenson.  She is 9 years old and is going to school for the time this year. Angel was abandoned by her father and lives in Duazon, Liberia with her mother.  Angel and her family have been practically homeless due to her mother being an unemployed alcoholic.  Angel plays the roll of the mother to her siblings and herself.  Her interests are helping her family and she hopes to be a teacher when she grows up.
