June 2019: We are sorry to announce that Angel did not complete the 2018-2019 school year. The only teacher who teaches at the Wenn Town Public School “put down his chalk” because the government has not paid his salary for months. Therefore, all of the students at the school did not complete the school year.  Noel, thank you for your sponsorship and giving your student a gift of education. 

2018:  Meet Angel Jarque, who has been generously sponsored by Noel Irwin. She is 14 years old and was promoted to the 5th grade this year. She lives in Wenn Town, Liberia with her father. 

2017:  Meet Angel Jarque, who has been generously sponsored by Noel Irwin. She is 13 years old and in the 4th grade this year. She lives in Wenn Town, Liberia with her father. About 6 months ago, Angel’s father who is a palm oil maker, had climbed up into the palm tree to cut some palm to prepare his oil. Unfortunately, he fell about 50 feet from the tree and broke his back and his arm. Since then, he has been unable to work. Angel never completed her school last year because her father did not have the money to pay her balance tuition payment.  Her interests are learning and she hopes to be a business woman when she grows up.
