January 2024: 45 year old Elizabeth provides for her family through  sustainable farming activities.  When not on her small subsistence farm, she barters her services out to larger farm owners as a laborer in their fields.   Her husband abandoned the family and left her to care for their six children.  Her mom and dad used to supplement the care of her family but they died of Ebola.  Elizabeth has the kind of strength and resilience worthy of admiration and support.  GPA is happy to walk alongside her by providing an economic empowerment package to assist her expand her gardening activities aimed at larger crop yields.
