January 2024: Cecelia is a twenty three year old single mother raising three children through subsistence farming.  Cecelia’s husband abandoned his family by leaving them in his grandmother’s care.  With an overextended household, the grandmother could not provide adequate food, what more other necessities.  Cecelia had to drop out of school to fully pursue subsistence farming.  With youth in her favor, she desires to diversify her income by making and selling charcoal alongside her farming enterprise.
