January 2024: Forty-one-year-old Albertha lives with her family of seven children.  She does farm work (making her own garden and working on other people’s farms) to provide for her family.  Albertha can barely provide a daily meal for her family and could only afford to send three of her children to school. Albertha has literally “juggled” a lot of life circumstances and experiences to get her family where they are today.  She was awarded an economic empowerment package to enable her to extend her farming enterprise to improve her income.
